Several months ago Summit Prevention Alliance was approached with the idea of creating a youth center in Summit County.  With the summer programs being cut, many parents were concerned about youth activities in the summer months.  However, we were hesitant to move forward without assessing the community’s true need for a center.  And thus began our “needs assessment.”  Our needs assessment involved creating and distributing a survey for adults and youth in the community. We have collected 250 responses from the adult community and about 300 from the youth.  However, we would like to collect at least 500 from the adult community.  We collected surveys at the recent parent/teacher conferences.  Where else can we collect surveys?
