On a chilly Thursday after work, our good friend Natalie, the school health coordinator at Summit School District, came over to SPA to teach the SPA ladies how to knit. Susan is already a pretty good knitter, for Natalie had taught her to knit the previous summer. Holly, Liliana, and I, however, were all beginners. Natalie rose to the challenge and did a great job teaching us how to knit and purl. She recently taught a Girl Scout troop how to knit, so she was a seasoned knitting instructor.
I think knitting could be a great asset-building activity that parents can do with their children! For more information about how to get started with knitting, check out KnittingHelp.com. They have free instructional videos and everything.
See you all later!
