The 10th annual Make A Difference Day event in Summit County will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2008. Make A Difference Day is a national day of giving back hosted locally by Summit Prevention Alliance each October. Over 550 volunteers mobilize to provide work at more than 25 sites in Summit County. Volunteer service ranges from building and maintaining trails, to painting a building, to improving playgrounds. Make A Difference Day is a great opportunity to be active in our community and to meet new people.

Attention local nonprofits, schools and government agencies/departments!

If so, become a project site for Make A Difference Day in October 2008! As a project site, you provide a project, supplies, tools, and a coordinator for the day of the event. Make A Difference Day provides the volunteers.
