The 13th annual Make A Difference Day event was held in Summit County on Saturday, October 8th, 2011. We had hundreds of citizens from around Summit County and the state partake in an exciting day of community service and Food Drive. Make A Difference Day is a national day of giving back hosted locally by Summit Prevention Alliance each October. Over 300 volunteer mobilized to provide work at 30 sites in Summit County. Volunteer service range from building and maintaining trails, to painting a building, to cleaning computers and classrooms.
It takes a big effort and lots of donations to organize, plan and pay for Make a Difference Day. A great big thank you to our primary sponsor this year:
