Make A Difference Day is a national day of giving back. This past year, we conducted the 9th annual Make A Difference Day in Summit County on October 13, 2007.
Over 500 volunteers mobilized in Summit County to provide work at over 20 sites. Volunteer service ranged from building and maintaining trails, to painting, to cleaning classrooms. We look forward to your participation next year!

Attention local nonprofits, schools and government agencies/departments!
- Do you have a project you always wanted to complete but didn’t have the workers?
- Are you looking for community members to learn about your organization?
- Are you looking for more volunteers?
If so, become a project site for Make A Difference Day in October 2008! As a project site, you provide a project, supplies, tools, and a coordinator for the day of the event. Make A Difference Day provides the volunteers.
