Today was Doggy Day at Summit Prevention Alliance. (Let’s be realistic: It’s *always* Doggy Day at SPA). Anyway…today was a special day because we took all six dogs on a nice hike up to Rainbow Lake for our February staff activity. I was the only person who didn’t have a dog. Well, actually, Susan doesn’t really have a dog, either. She was watching Natalie’s dog, Hunter. I guess she was paying back Natalie for teaching us all how to knit.
Hiking with the dogs was super fun. Sadie, Kari’s dog, did lots of extra work runing up and down, making sure we were all there in our herd. The rest of the dogs enjoyed romping in the snow. We ran into quite a few dogs up at the lake, so they all had fun playing together.
I was kind of jealous that I didn’t have a dog and everyone else did, but oh well. I get to play with 6 or 7 dogs everyday at work, so I guess I am one lucky girl.
Catch ya later!
