Active Parenting Now

Millions of parents have achieved success through Active Parenting!

Through this program you will learn skills that will help you develop cooperation, responsibility and good character in your children. You’ll also learn positive discipline techniques so you can avoid those all-too-familiar power struggles. Best of all, you’ll be able to share ideas with other parents who know exactly what you’re going through.

Healthy Options Uncovered!

On the set! The second season of ¿Que Cocinas? is here! Summit Prevention Alliance is trying out new ideas with hopes of educating more Summit County residents about healthy eating.

Our first show of the season was a big hit. We were able to film the show at City Market in Dillon. The show aims to educate viewers about the healthiest options available at their local grocery store. Thank you Dillon City Market for your support!

Be sure to check out the show on SCTV-10 (Summit County television cable channel 10) or follow the link to SCTV-10’s website to view the schedule.

Liliana

Take me out to the ball game!

Rain Ponchos! Action TomandDonna SusanandElyse Everyone loves a good ball game! On May 8, SPA staff traveled to the big city of Denver to see the Colorado Rockies play the St. Louis Cardinals. It was great day. Everyone was excited when the Rockies beat the Cardinals….well, almost everyone. We did have ONE traitor among us…..TOM! Tom grew up a Cardinals fan, so he was just happy to see them play.
