Established in 1985 as the Summit County Alcohol and Drug Task Force, Summit Prevention Alliance is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles in Summit County.
Originally focused on preventing impaired driving, Summit Prevention Alliance has expanded to providing prevention and health promotion services for a variety of issues including the following:
- tobacco
- youth alcohol use
- teen driving safety
- impaired driving
- positive youth development
- physical activity and nutrition
