Established in 1985 as the Summit County Alcohol and Drug Task Force, Summit Prevention Alliance is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles in Summit County.Originally focused on preventing impaired driving, Summit Prevention Alliance has expanded to providing prevention and health promotion services for a variety of issues including the following:

• tobacco
• youth alcohol use
• teen driving safety
• impaired driving
• positive youth development
• physical activity and nutrition
